ECL CHOPPERS FOR CHARITY

ECL Choppers for Charity has partnered with the Alberta Children’s Hospital and Stollery Children’s Hospital to make a vast difference in the lives of children’s health. Through the generosity of donors, the foundation has provided funding for innovative programs, equipment, advanced pediatric research, training, education and services for children’s hospitals in Alberta.

This particular charity resonated with Simon Hunt because of his love for motorcycles. Sixteen years ago, when this program first began, the organization raised $5,000 for the Children’s Hospital through its Harley Davidson ride. The 2019 Choppers for Charity ride raised an incredible $220,000 for Rotary Flames House, bringing the five-year total to nearly $955,000 to benefit Alberta Children’s Hospitals. Simon continues to donate faithfully as Tom Fredericks has pioneered this wonderful cause that affects families in our communities. Funds raised through the 2019 ECL Choppers for Charity Motorcycle Ride will continue to support respite care at Rotary Flames House and Simon is proud to again be a sponsor.

THE DISTINGUISHED GENTLEMAN'S RIDE

Simon D Hunt proudly supports and participates annually in the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride of Calgary. The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride unites classic and vintage style motorcycle riders all over the world to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health. The 2019 Calgary ride has so far raised over $28,000 with 100 riders taking part a nice leisurely jaunt around town!

CANADIAN OILFIELD RIDERS

Simon D Hunt proudly supports and participates in the Canadian Oilfield Riders annual ride in support of The Children’s Wish Foundation of Alberta. For over thirty years the Canadian Oilfield Riders have gathered and supported the Children’s Wish Foundation of Alberta & NWT. Each year the Chapter grants up to 130 Wishes. Donations help grant the most heartfelt Wish of a local child who faces a life-threatening illness.

CHILDREN'S MIRACLE NETWORK

Founded in 1983, the Children’s Miracle Network is now affiliated with over 170 children’s hospitals. The mission of the Children’s Miracle Network is to generate funds and awareness programs for the benefit of children served by its associated hospitals, health centers, and foundations. Each year, the Children’s Miracle Network treats 17 million children, and has influenced the lives of children more than any other children’s organization in the world.

RE/MAX sales associates designate listings to be a Miracle Home and donate a portion from the sale of each home towards the CMN member that serves in their area. Without our clients, this program would not be possible. When you see a RE/MAX lawn sign, know that the sales associate behind the sign is dedicated to supporting health care for children in the community they do business in. To date, RE/MAX is Canada’s largest corporate contributor.
